15 km of cross-country ski trails

Deep breath, tension in the muscles and dynamic movements: This is pure cross-country skiing. On Melchsee-Frutt varied cross-country tracks are drawn in the snow leading from a peaceful and charming landscapes.

Skating and classic style

The circular route from Melchsee-Frutt to Tannalp and back with its around 15 kilometers of well groomed trails offers a varied skiing experience. This route can be covered using either skating or classic style. The idyllic Berggasthaus Tannalp is the perfect place for a break along the way. And there is something for the less experienced skiers too: The frozen Melchsee is ideal for those who prefer a trail without ascents and descents.

Groomed Trails

The trail is regularly groomed. When there are heavy snowfalls, grooming is however not always guaranteed.

Changing room and shower

A changing room with shower is available at the mountain station of the Stöckalp-Melchsee-Frutt cable railway.

Outlets for cross-country ski passes

Cross-country ski passes for the trail at Melchsee-Frutt may be obtained at the sports lifts.
