Toboggan racing

On Sunday, 13 March 2016 tobogganers will be racing down the slopes in the early morning from Melchsee-Frutt to Cheselen. Either on a racing sled or on a traditional Davos sled, racers will be vying for first place.

Route: Melchsee-Frutt to Cheselen (approx. 4 km, 520 altitude metres)
Start / finish: Hoger Schönegg Melchsee-Frutt to SOS Hüttli above Cheselen
Categories:
1: Children born 1998 – 2003 (steerable sled)
2: Women; steerable sled (Gasser, Torggler, Graf etc.)
3: Men; steerable sled (Gasser, Torggler, Graf etc.)
4: Women; men; rigid sled (Davoser, Beckenrieder etc.)

Registration: Via internet or directly on the race day
Starting numbers issued: from 7.15 am to 7.45 am, mountain station cable railway
Starting time: 8 am (special trip cable railway from 7 am) Commencement is at 30-second intervals.
Award ceremony: 11 am at the Posthuis Bar
