Winter Hiking Melchsee-Frutt to Tannalp

From the top station Melchsee-Frutt the trail leads towards Tannalp. After idyllic Frutt-Dörfli by panoramic lift you walk along the frozen Melchsee. At the end of the lake to the left branches off the cross-country trail. Shortly thereafter, before the little bridge, the winter hiking trails branch. Follow the newly created direct path uphill. The road passes under the aerial cableway Distelboden – Bonistock and runs parallel to the rock to fir dam. There, the paths meet together again. The last stretch takes you along the frozen Tannensee and then down to Tannalp which lies in a sheltered hollow. When mountain Tannalp is the turning point of the tour. You deserve a break with strengthening. In the same way, we are talking back to Melchsee-Frutt.

Duration

The cozy winter hiking trail is a classic par excellence for young and old. From Melchsee-Frutt to Tannalp and retour you need about 2 – 2 ½ hours.
